 1.  Arriving in San Francisco at the Caltrain Station:
The Caltrain area is a new developing area which has been extended from the SF financial district. In this neighborhood, has Startbucks Coffee, SafeWay Store, and many restaurants.

2. A Walk to Starbucks for my coffee:
Starbucks Coffee is one of my favor coffee house. When I saw the green color sign just cross street, I could stop myself not to go there.

3.My morning latte at Starbucks:

I got a Non fat latter to fill up my empty stomach, what a tasty latter!!!

4.A view of SF Giants history:
This is the center of California because this is a Baseball Game Stadium where the SF Giants plays here all the time. It is a hot spot you wont missing.

5.A walk to the home of the Giants:
Looking around on the outside of the Stadium, watching SF Giants fans were in a hurry to watch the games. I was influenced by them, was thinking to get tickets to go for one game.
6.Time to catch the Muni:
However, I got to catch the Muni to the Ferry building....

7.Get off at the Ferry building:
After four short stops, I arrived the ferry building . Here is a place for tours to get some authentic SF snaps or take a break. Warning for new visitors: remember to get Muni ticket, otherwise you would stuck in a awkward situation.

8.Shopping at the Ferry building:
It is a cultural place, small and cozy shops on both side of the building. I had a cheese tour at a cheese store, after tasted more than ten kind of cheese, finally I got Italian goat cheese. Next to the cheese store was a Acme bread Bakery store. I had a cinnamon rolls, taste was fantastic.  Don't forget to have one when you are there.

9.Walk to the market...
Passed by the Hyatt Regency Hotel, walked along the market street was an enjoyable short trip.

10.Browsing at the market:
On the road side, a lot of shops and great tall buildings. I realized a funny thing was that between every 100 meter distance, you would see a Starbucks Coffee store. I was wondering, how many people drink coffee? How often?

Walk to Union Square...:
here is a hottest spot to all tourists. Histroical buildings were around the square, it was a good art and history lesson to me by walking around.

Shopping in Union Square:
It was a ideal shopping area for all shoppers including me. I went the Westfield mall had a two-hour window shopping. Finally stopped at a food court on the basement to get my lunch.

San Francisco shopping Center:
It was a pleasant experience.  The department store carries a lot of design brands clothes and shoes. You can get almost everything you want.

Watching a movie...:
I was a bit tried, then went the Metron Cinema on the fourth street and Mansion  for a movie to recharge my energy.
After watch the movie,I got my third coffee from the Starbucks which was on the first floor inside the movie theater. Then got out to the yerba Buena gardens to get fresh air.

Dinner at Roy's restaurant:
After red a few reviews on the iphone, I picked the Roy's restaurant to have a seafood dinner. It was a cozy and fancy place, a bit pricy, but fresh and tasty. A good finish by the end of the day in San Francisco.

Comments of the articles by Le Manovich

I do agree with Manovich's points of view in his article that the digital Cinema is a sub-genre of painting. It is no longer a tool of story telling or an indexical media technology. As we know Cinema is used to be a live action footage which show images. But by now the digital cinema is able to add more elements on the footage. It is a artist's brush to "paint" images. In his words it is a revolution in the field of cinema.
In his another article Myths of Computer Graphics he points out the importance of the 3D computer graphics and animation that made a realism effect on the photographic/film. The moving pictures become the real scenes. However, he warns the side effects for the creation of the artificial reality that is lack of real realities. The computer animation is not to improve the skills for making good cinema, but instead of becoming a tool of making money.
